Who We Hire
When we hire staff, we are looking for people who are passionate about working with young children. We want staff who focus on building positive relationships and and fostering a love for learning. It is important that they have positive attitude, strong interpersonal and communication skills, appreciation for diversity, love of children and knowledge of early childhood. Just as we want our staff to foster a love for learning and encourage curiosity in the children they work with, we want individuals on our team who are curious and eager to learn.
Our Head Teachers must have a Bachelors Degree and at least 12 credits in early childhood if the degree is not in early childhood. Our Assistant Teachers must have a Child Development Associates Certificate or equivalent. Our Teachers Aides must have experience in the field. That said, some of our staff possess qualifications beyond what their position requires and all of our staff receive many hours of training each year.
